Die BSG-Wandersaison haben wir heute mit einer ersten Wanderung eingeläutet. Wir starteten unsere Runde in Kurort Rathen und hörten auf dem Weg am Amselsee den pappigen Schnee unter unseren Schuhen knirschen. Ja, so muss es zu einer Winterwanderung klingen! Zu unserem Erstaunen fehlte dem Amselsee das ganze Wasser, lediglich als Bach führte er Wasser. Also kein Schlittschuhlaufen möglich.

Wir bogen rechts über die Amselseer' Brücke in den Höllgrund ein und folgten dem mit grünem Strich markierten Pionierweg. Einen halben Kilometer später führte eine Treppe zu einem Abzweig zu den Honigsteinen. Etwa 15 Minuten ging es 100 Hm steil die Treppen hinauf und es wurde uns sehr warm dabei. Belohnt wurden wir nach Passieren des Felsdurchgangs am "Lamm" mit einer wundervollen und sonnigen Aussicht über Lilienstein, Königstein, Talwächter, Amselsee und Basteifelsen. Das war ein lohnenswerter Abstecher - da waren wir uns alle einig.

Den steilen Abstieg zum Knotenweg erreichten wir über Treppen und Wurzeln, nahmen Kurs auf den Hockstein und legten dort nahe der Schutzhütte eine Pause bei herrlicher Ansicht von Hohnstein und Burg ein. Schnell noch ein Gruppenfoto durch eingetroffene Wandergesellen und dann ging es unterhalb der Teufelsbrücke durch die Wolfsschlucht hinab zum Polenztalweg.

Leider war der geplante Weg und Aufstieg nach Hohnstein gesperrt und so setzten wir die Wanderung auf dem Polenztalweg fort, was sehr entspannend war. Auf diese Weise gelangten wir vorzeitig auf den Abschnitt des geplanten Rückweges mit Abzweig zum Füllhölzelweg, über den wir schließlich an den Ausgangspunkt wieder zurück gelangten.

Im Panorama-Bistro Rathener Hof mit Blick auf den Lilienstein und die Elbe haben wir die Tour bei einem kalten Getränk und warmer Mahlzeit ausklingen lassen. Als Nachtisch empfiehlt sich hier Schwarzwälder Kirsch im Glas.

<span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: DE; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">Im Juli 2016 haben wir eine Sommerwanderung von der (H) Stadt Wehlen zum Bahnhof Königstein gemacht, diese ging über den Rauenstein mit tollen Panorama-Aussichten und entlang der damals neu eröffneten Malerwegkapelle. Eine Rast ist außerhalb der Hauptsaison vom Mittwoch bis Sonntag im <span class="usercontent">Schokoladencafé in Thürmsdorf möglich. Des Weiteren ist die Strecke auch bei Hochwasser planbar, da die Elbe nicht überquert werden muss. Bei winterlichen Verhältnissen und Nässe ist die Strecke sehr gut passierbar. Aus diesen Gründen fiel die Wahl erneut auf diese Strecke</span></span>.

Hier lauschten wir dem reichlichen Wasser, das die wenigen Meter im freien Fall der Schwerkraft unterliegt. Die Treppenstufen zu den Schwedenlöchern balancierten wir vorsichtig hinauf und merkten die deutliche zeitliche Verzögerung gegenüber der Planung. Die bestellte Einkehr in Hohburkersdorf erreichten wir nur dadurch rechtzeitig, indem das Auto in Rathewalde abgeholt und zur Basteistraße gefahren wurde. Unsere kleinste Wanderin hat bis dahin tapfer durchgehalten.</div>

Am geschlossenen Kassenhäuschen vorbei kamen wir zum ersten Treppenabgang, der sich als erste Rutschpartie zeigte. Bei späteren längerer solcher Wegabschnitte waren Geländer angebracht, die zur Fortsetzung der Wanderung überredet haben. Abseits der eingetrampelten Wege lag der Schnee kniehoch, was ein schönes Landschaftsbild und winterliche Aussichten ergab. Der Naturlehrpfad (oft gelb markiert :-) ) führt durch zahlreiche Felstürme mit kleinen Höhlen und Verwinkelungen, bestens geeignet zum Verstecken oder für überraschende Schneeballschlachten. Wieder am Anfang der Rundwanderung angekommen nutzten wir in dem Restaurant die Gelegenheit für eine böhmische Mahlzeit: die Bedienung war schnell und freundlich, das Essen gut und günstig, bezahlt werden konnte mit EUR. Und so kam es dann auch. Mit dem Parkplatz am Hotel-Restaurant Mezni Louka als Startpunkt gewannen wir auf dem Gabrielensteig schnell an Höhe. Die Luft war klar, Wege und Bäume verschneit, der Nebel zog über die umliegenden Felshöhen. Der rot ausgezeichnete Pfad führte vorbei an beeindruckenden Felsriffen auf der rechten und oft steil abfallendem Abgrund auf der linken wie durch einen Zauberwald. Ein durch Geländer und Brücken gestalteter Serpentinenweg führte schließlich zum Großen Prebischtor. Schnell wird man von diesem faszinierenden Gebilde in den Bann gezogen. Erstaunt von der Konstruktion und Schönheit dieses Naturdenkmals rückten wir mit jedem Schritt auch dem nebenstehendem Ausflugsschlösschen Falkenhorst immer näher, das die Gelegenheit zur gemütlichen Einkehr nicht einzulösen versuchte. Die Öffnungszeiten von November bis März am Fr/Sa/So von 10 bis 16 Uhr galt am Ende doch nur einer kleinen, aber warmen Hütte hinter dem Prebischtor, mit dem Hauptgericht: Eis. Die Planänderung sah nun vor, die Aussichtsplattform gegenüber dem Prebischtor zu erklimmen und die herrliche Aussicht zu genießen, den Gabrielensteig zur Fahrstraße hinunterzulaufen und über den Mühlweg wieder an den Ausgangspunkt zu gelangen. Dort angekommen, studierten wir im Restaurant hungrig die Speisekarte mit böhmischen Rafinessen und glichen die verbrannten Kalorien genussvoll wieder aus.</div><div id="bkmrk-" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);
